Fair Housing 101
Location: Weirton, WV
Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
There is no cost to attend this workshop which is open to all housing stakeholders and interested members of the general public.
Agenda will include basics of fair housing including history of federal and state facts, reasonable accommodations and modifications, design and construction requirements and assistance animals.
Pre-registration required.  Space limited to 40 participants.

Raise Your Voice!

Time: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
There is no cost to attend this workshop with is open to all social service agencies, organizations representing protected classes, and interested members of the general public.  Agenda will include why it is important to attend public hearings and meetings, how to find out when these occure, and what is the best way to reach your elected officials.  In a few years, increased community participation in AFFH will be mandatory. 
Pre-registration required.  Space limited to 40 participants.

Assistance Animals and Service Animals: How to Know the Difference
